What We Do

REDD brings together researchers from philosophy, communication, political science, sociology, computer science, and media studies. The network develops methodologies, shares empirical findings, and builds theoretical frameworks capable of addressing complex informational phenomena.

REDD centralises transdisciplinary research efforts at UFMG and engages in dialogue with national and international research centres dedicated to disinformation, digital democracy, and algorithmic governance.
